Roman Ruins

Gaius Octavius

Recommended Posts

I have posted some four score-six images in my 'Roman Italy' album in the Gallery. Unfortunately Ansel Adams was absent touring the Altai. A negligent photographer substituted for him. These pics were taken some 25 years ago. I have forgotten what most are of and where they are at. That is why there are "?" and "===". If any would be so kind as to supply the proper caption and note, I would consider it a great kindness and will edit as soon as possible.

Ok, the first (?) is the Roman Theatre of Ostia Antiqua, not the one in Pompeii =) (and so this one http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?act=mo...si&img=1345 ).

The second (?) looks like Ostia too, the Pompeii(?) were taken in Pompeii.

The Rome(?) ones are in fact in Roma lol, the pictures with the statues were taken in the Atrium Vestae, the house of the Vestali. http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?act=mo...si&img=1326
