Below are the newest releases for August...

Economic Rationalism and Rural Society in Third-Century AD Egypt

Salve!

This sound interesting; we know far more of the life of the common citizen (and non-citizens) in Roman Egypt than elsewhere in the Roman (and non-Roman) World during Classical Antiquity, mainly because of the fairly good preservation of their administrative papyri records.

Regretfully, the offer of Amazon.com to share some excerpts of this book has been actually not fulfilled, at least for today.
