Very cool. The "camara gloss" isn't a big deal. I have a photo of a picture I painted that was in a frame, there's a reflection of me taking the picture in the picture lol.

Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, the pencils get a work out for sure! I've got serious calluses as well. My index & middle finger is usually numb when I complete one of these.

 

So far, Prismapencils are the only ones that give me that thick greasy color. Others come out too crayony for what I try to accomplish with colored pencils.

 

I'll post more soon. I too have the issue that many are in frames.

 

BTW... does anyone know their Rune Stones?

I don't know them well. My mom does. I recognize them in there but I've forgotten the meanings.

I have a superficial knowledge of the ancient and new Futhark and the English runic alphabet, I guess I can consider myself an erilaR

this looks quite Pict...orial, if you get my drift.Wouldnt look odd painted on a passing charioteer.

First off, Pertinax is quite dead on in his Pict - orial jest... As that is where the mythical pixie comes from; the historical Picts not converting to Christianity and becoming the mythical prankster of the moors...

 

Now, as to the rune meanings; the picture was for my sister's birthday so in Elder Furthark I placed the runes from left to right, top to bottom (for modern convention):

 

Thurisa - Seeing the future (Gateway)

Dagaz - Daylight Dawn (Awakening)

Jera - Cycle of One Year (Harvest)

Pertho - Initiation, Things Unexplained, Something Hidden (Lot Cup...)

 

So Silentium, you're identification of thdjp was quite accurate.
