That looks something like the pic in the book I found, except for the helmet of the "oven man" was pointed instead of rounded.

Yes there are many helmet variants, the earlier types( 2nd C AD) are pronouncedly conical. The helmet shown here also turns up in Scandanavia as a trade item.
