There was a thread recently where we discussed Oak + Mistletoe and how it is extremely rare in Europe. As previously mentioned, in Atlanta it is actually quite common.

 

Here is one of my favorites (even though there are trees with much more mistletoe in it than this..) Ironically, this tree resides in the 'Druid Hills' part of the city...

Which part of the tree?

 

My zoom won't do much good for a real closeup of the mistletoe, it's pretty high up there.

 

And leaves are coming out fast!

 

The mistletoe itself if at all possible.Its very rare here and it would be good to get a shot for the Herbal gallery given the significance of the plant and the ceremonial involved.
