not a good shot , I apologise , but interesting as we note that spurs do not exist and the four horned saddle alone is the method of control whilst the bow is drawn and fired. Fired with considerable accuracy I would add.

That must be a very well trained horse!

 

I can't imagine those saddles are very uncomfortable. And with no stirrups, I don't even think I could get on the horse without a ladder! (I'm not the most graceful person in the world....is a huge understatement LOL)

The equipage is supposed to authentic (and with cinches) but I am no expert-however at the next event I will try to have a longer chat with the mounted Auxilliae.
