  1. I blame you for saying that. Lol just kidding. How can i piss you off so PP can lock this thread, Anthrophobia? EDIT: And yes, Fatboy, shame upon you!
  2. And i see that you got there before me Jimbow... how didn't i notice that?
  3. Centurion: What's this then? Romanes eunt domus? People call around marnays they go the house? Brian: It...it says: "Romans go home." Centurion: No, it doesn't. Brian: Aih. 4. yup, primuspilus knows much about the topics that occur here, and has helped me many a time. Just because he wants to congratulate them on a job well done, doesnt make him have a hidden agenda, Spartacus.... On second thought... what are you up to Zeke?
  5. :2guns: Fatboy for starting this (even if it was a joke) :sniper: Chinese Forum for inventing this topic Alright im good, you may continue.
  6. Perhaps Egypt will rebuild the Lighthouse of Alexandria after this? lol
  7. Stop giving us biased opinions on the Chinese and stop posting on this topic, its a Roman forum!!
  8. Okay i said "damned Picts" in a playful manner, i even added a smiley after it. Ill just say i was looking at the Picts in a Roman perspective, as they continued to raid the wall, and even past it. I really have nothing against the Picts. Btw i meant the Scots came from Ireland (i believe) and took the Picts out of power in Northern England. Damned Carthaginians... (not intended at you skel, lol)
  9. Lol im sorry PM, i didnt expect that. I thought the People of Pictland were gone, the Scots kind of took over in Northern England... my apologies. But its not like the British never insulted the United States.
  10. The Oliphant is a fictional character from LOTR, yes, but that is actually a CHEAT CODE in Rome Total War to make the War Elephants 40% bigger in the Campaign. Technically it isnt a unit. Anyway, the fake unit is still the Druid. lol
  11. Okay Rome never fought China, Rome never will fight China, and the more you guys argue about it wont bring them to rivalry. We dont know who would win, most of the people on this site do not have an education for the Chinese way of battle, thats why we're on a Roman forum. And most of the people on the 'Chinese' forum probably do not have a very great Roman education. Fact of the matter is, ive seen many biased opinions on this thread, and biased opinions tend to give false information. Besides, im tired of seeing these Chinese fanboys (no offense ) rant about how great the Han army was, because apparently not all the facts are known about that said army. In conclusion, this thread is bringing me to insanity.
  12. Actually i think the fictional unit is the Druid. And ive completed the Imperial Campaign with Carthage on the hardest difficulty so i can honestly say i mastered it... i think....
  13. Not far more intelligent than my peers unfortunately, my GPA rounded out to a 3.7 last semester. (4 As, 2 Bs) I just enjoy history of all kinds, especially Roman-era. I think im the only student in the school who reads the history textbook for 'fun'. EDIT: By the way, i am studying in America.
  14. User amcrazyjus, sorry if it seemed like i was insulting your grammar in any way, i said grammar* to correct spartacus, seeing as he was so busy with yours. Again my apologies, just dont see too many people replying to themselves. Im only fifteen, i make mistakes, as do all of us. By the way, didnt legionaries get paid in salt? I remember hearing that somewhere...
  15. "Why You Should Stop Burning Our Towns", being the Germanic Diplomat that im not.
  16. Already categorized the threads, that was quick.
  17. Its grammar* and did you just reply to yourself, amcrazyjus? Scaries.
  18. Would be a good idea, since Roman Empire is such a large section, i sometimes miss posts that others had made simply because there are so many different threads there.
  19. So, why would past commanders spend all the money, and all the time to equip their soldiers with armor if it did not enhance their fighting ability at all? Sounds just a tad farfetched. By the way, if armor doesnt work then why would there have been the Cataphract, a heavily armored cavalryman, and why was it so much more effective than average shock cavalry?
  20. "48 Reasons Why [insert Name] Shouldn't Be Elected Consul"
  21. :stupid: Lol he looks cool. Does armor include shields? Because if it does, i think the shield could deflect arrows... hence the Testudo formation...
  22. Im agreeing on number four, war is bloody, and so was that scene. The flamethrower was so cool!
  23. Its that scary thing again, lol.
  24. Hmm, never thought of it like that. I considered it to be anarchy because the guy with the guns would be disposed of quickly. Therefore, the only way to create a Pure Anarchy is for everyone to be equal. Indeed that would be difficult to establish!
