That it is a translation of a translation of a hear say story by no one present at time of happening? ...the period of time during the whole new testament and lots of the old one is playing are times of many "writing societies" romans, egyptians, greeks, babylonias etc... The questions is what do they write about the events if at all. The "census by Augustus" was as far as i know recorded by other texts than the bible, anything else?
