1.700 year old bishop seat discovered in austria

...no news in english language, but this is really great stuff, just a few miles from where i live was a bishop seat with three, possible four churches and several clerical buildings discovered and that just 30cm below the surface. No object is dated so far older than 350 AD. The great thing is that unlike other early bishop seats like Aquilea, no churches have been built on top, so it is pure and uncontaminated by newer buildings.

Really cool that the site was never destroyed by later buildings. It must be terribly interesting to people working with early Christianity. Even I, who avoids anything with sheep frescoes and peacock mosaics, sort of want to read more about it!
