caesar novus Posted November 13, 2023 Report Share Posted November 13, 2023 The mosaic's inscription is translated in the older article and is the usual vacuous jibber jabber that is so disappointing in most ancient inscriptions. The patterns are nice, and they aren't just random geometry according to an explanatory writeup I have lost track of, but have meaning somehow.
