One tomb contained a stone sarcophagus and three cremation urns, while the other held the remains of a man’s skeleton. The tombs were discovered in a cemetery located near a shrine dedicated to the deified Hercules. Hercules served as a guardian figure, protecting the deceased from hostile forces.
