Eighty seven years ago six million Britons fought in WW1.These are the only Heroes still alive.

With remembrance day coming up i fought it fitting to commend these last remaining British veterans so

Big thank you to these and all the other men who fought for the freedom we shamelessly take for granted.

I would be interested to know how many veterans from other nations still survive so if you can,post your own nations survivors,thanks.

We must never forget. Soon those who fought in The Second War will pass away ,to forget any of them is an act of stupidity,selfishness and disrespect. All power to your arm Longbow.

I agree we must never forget. Today (The 11th of the 11th) we held our remembrance day. 60 000 Australians died in the futile campaign of Gallipoli, and at the trenches on the Western Front. along with many others from Britain and it's empire.

We Shall remember them.
