Recommended Posts

The celebrations here were very unusual-the main celebrants seemed to be two Romanian's who look after the Town Centre flower beds . They seemed very happy though.

Did you know that St Patrick wasn't actually welsh? He was kidnapped from somewhere (i forget, maybe wales or england) and taken there as a child!

I'm assuming you mean "wasn't actually Irish ?" If he was kidnapped from Wales then he would have been welsh.

Well, I'm not Irish, but I'm Catholic.

There was a big celebration St. Patrick Day in Moscow. ;)

St Patrick was born at Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387 CE ;)
