Ludovicus 5 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) I'll be in Rome in October. Can anyone recommend a new museum or exhibit? The Ara Pacis has a new enclosure. Has anyone been there lately? Edited August 31, 2007 by Ludovicus
WotWotius 1 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) If it were me visiting Rome, I would pace over the same ground as the great poets of old (including Horace and Virgil themselves) in the Auditorium of Maecenas: It is not really a new exhibition, but a relatively unknown site (in terms of tourists anyway) and definitely worth a visit. Chelsee 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) I remember my last visit to Rome which was about 2 years ago. I saw an outdoor exhibit by budding painters who showcased their artworks in the plaza. It was somewhat refreshing, this artworks of the young ones, they are quite different from the paintings inside the museum.
