Bob Ross! OMG, did he say he was painting "happy trees"?!?!

 

I used to watch his show on public television when I was young.

Thank you! It's the first serious landscape I think I've ever attempted, at least with paint...so I'm proud of myself. I know the problems I'll face with the acrylics now so I should do better next time.

I began with acrycics too, but then (when I tried oil) I forgot about acrylics, lol. Did you try oil tempera? It's more real then acrylic and looks like oil but its technique is not so hard like oil technique.

I've never tried oil tempra. I've never even heard of it lol i'll have to look into it.

 

I want to try oil now, but its messy, expensive, and takes forever to dry...i dont reallly have the setup for oil in my house...i dont have a studio i have an easel in my living room.
