The British are of course noted for their reserve , heaven forfend ,therefore that I should suggest lascivious and libidinous acts are taking place.

Don't such "lascivious and libidinous acts" (oh so THAT's how you spell "lascivious". I tried to look it up the other night and couldn't find it) usually take place in the air with butterflies? lol

Yes indeed , I was under the impression that two properly introduced butterflies ( with parental permission) "flutter about" in a distracting aerial ballet.

What kind of cameras you folks all use? Just interested and anyone can reply I've seen some really nice photos in these gallery's.

Oh dear- I have to confess to using a complete smorgasboard:

 

Panasonic/linux (ie: leica lensed) DMC LX1 or DMC FX8 (its compact baby brother)-this shot is from the LX1.The LX has a staggering zoom lens for a small camera , the FX8 is a minature gem ,but has no framing apparatus save the rear LCD screen.

or

Nikon D50 or vintage Nikon SLR (some lens compatability).

or

Sony cybershot (very blue cast to optics , but a nice compact).

WOW big collection. Your galleries are very nice as is everyones that I have looked at. I recently bought a Panasonic/Lumix DMC-FZ50 myself it's very nice but sadly there are no Roman ruins within about 5,000 miles of here lol. I may take it to the Museum though and see if there is anything of interest,I don't think their Roman collection is too extensive though. I have a Nikon 4T macro lens for it and hope to get some nice insect shots like your moths when spring rolls around.
