That is one crazy looking fellow!
Funny you mention the not so bright aspect. Down at my mother's farm, there is an agressive little blue bird who will attack his image (for hours on end) in my step father's truck side mirror every day.... Every day
Poop has become a common accessory...
It is quite hilarious to watch.

Great shot!
Barn owls are such majestic birds...

This is just a type of sandy & brittle rock
-
No, oddly enough its a simple pool on the rock face caused by the errosive forces of mother nature. My she does wierd things from time to time!
-
Lacertus,
Did you mean to say 1500 AD?
Very nice shot BTW
-
As presented, its one of the best artistic shots you've ever posted!
-
They are extremely cool LW!
-

-

-
Quite cool
-
Wow, how'd I know you were going to say that. Well preserved indeed!
-
What is it's material?
-
Icky! If I had lice like that, I'd probably cut all my hair off.
There would still be bed bugs to contend with...

What was it that Tom Robbins said?
"A moth's dust is a libidinous dust"

Looks as if it was made less than 50 years ago...

Might those two not be doing something else as well?

So Marysport & Watercrook are both Alvana?

Did Vidal disown the whole mess?
I think it was more that others disowned him of it. From what I understand, the end result was not what his original vision was after
-
Better than the scene presented by Gore Vidal no doubt...
What were O'Toole & Gielgood thinking?
-
Not too many vets specialize on alpaca's I suppose. But yes, great all around animals. Great pack animals like llamas I imagine too.
-
I have a pair of socks made from their wool; wonderfully comfortable.
My mother has been thinking of adding them to her barnyard ensemble.
-
I guess it seems more appealing from that perspective.
What does the river do upstream from this point?
-
Still a nice shot.
Other than being riverside, it doesn't look like a very promising defensive location for a fort
-
Leaves, roots, flowers? or all?
