Hi. I've been looking all over the internet for someone who could help me with an english to latin translation. If someone here could be kind enough to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I need the proper translation of "give me liberty or give me death" into latin. Its for a tattoo so I've kind of gotta get it rights so I don't look like a chump.

Thanks. :whistling:

Thanks a lot.

thats one way to say it.

Is that the way you would say it if you were getting a tattoo? I know thats a strange question.

Since I'm going to have it for life, I just want to make sure its proper.

Thanks

pompeius magnus is correct. there are many different words in latin that mean the same thing in english. i think the reason for this was because there are no plurals or words like "the" or something.

but heres something else.

Caesar si viveret, ad remum dareris (If Caesar were alive, you'd be chained to an oar)

just kidding
