guy
Turkey remains a source of beautiful discoveries. This mosaic was uncovered in a Roman bath complex in southern Turkey, within the ancient city of Syedra. It is believed to date back to the 2nd century AD and covers an area of 164 square meters (1765 square feet). The mosaic features the Greek mythological hero Heracles (or Hercules in Roman mythology). https://www.dailysabah.com/life/history/164-square-meter-heracles-mosaic-found-in-turkeys-alanya Edited May 15, 2025 by guy
