Augustus' House

I thought the complex comprising the still relatively intact Casa di Livia and the more ruinious Casa di Augusto were the houses he lived in as princeps.

 

I note that this is his bithplace - although how they can be sure, I don't know.

 

Interesting though.

 

I always find the House of Livia very atmospheric.

Augustus' house was marked in various ways, especially around the doors, the sources tell us that. But was his birthplace denoted in any way, as far as we know?
