Digger blunder at site of Roman fort

Recommended Posts

But some of the buried artefacts at Caister, near Yarmouth, have met their match after archaeologists mistakenly used a mechanical digger to uncover the fort's secrets. Er hello!!! A trench of 15 metres by 1 metre.... how did they not see what was going on within the first few inches? And was the driver possessed?!?!?!? When a dig is done with a trowel stuff is spotted straight away and you would think this would be the case here also. 15metres? Good grief!!!!
