Editorial Foreword
Welcome to the thirteenth edition of the UNRV Roman History newsletter. It is the first edition in the New Year and is packed with interesting news, updates, an author interview and a book giveaway. The biggest change on unrv.com since the last newsletter is the optical enhancement of the front page. It has a fresh new look and feel (with what we feel is a more 'Romanesque' attitude) along with added functionality smoothly integrated with the look of the forum.

3. Interview with Andrew Dalby
=======================
Often when one reviews a book, you want to ask the author for further insights. With Mr. Dalby a senior member at UNRV, we had the rare privilege of exercising that desire after reviewing his book Bacchus: A Biography. The following is an interview with the author replicated with his permission.
