Interesting. I guess if I am ever forced to move to Texas for some ungodly reason, I'll go to Austin.
Do they have good museums, libraries, art galleries, etc?
-
How integrated do you want it? How far should it expand?
-
I feel for you, Chris.

Re: the first bullet. I'm proud of the American people. They are showing common sense and innovation in trouled times. A 3 year degree sounds great.
-
Good to know.

Evolutionists seem to feel it is to reproduce before you die. Many modern religious people seem to think it is to become a good person before you die. So if you have both reproduced and are "a good person" I guess you're set!
(No, I can't begin to answer this questions seriously).

The last one I saw was a few years ago with a now ex girlfriend: Music and Lyrics
Haven't seen one since and don't care too.
Me, I like a good drama, or an action flick that is not totally mindless. I don't watch many movies, though.

I really don't see the fascination with baby pictures. Must be a female thing.
But does anyone want a little page somewhere on UNRV that has a photo and maybe a little bio of the regulars?
-
This thread should be a front page article. "Match the Faces to the Names."

Nice pics, Aurelia. Cheers.

I'm afraid I don't have a scanner, and thus I can't upload a kiddie pic.

It's Nephele ... pre-Goth! Wasn't she cute?

Oh, piffle. My name is Jeremy, freely stated on various reviews. And you can see my pic here: http://romanspace.ning.com/profile/Ursus
By the way, cute kiddie pic.

Were any of us naked in this dream?

Since this flu developed in Mexico, I say everyone needs to drink a lot of Margarita's to flush the virus out.
-
I caught myself guffawing at the statement on the local news, along the lines of: one wonders why there have been so many more deaths and serious cases of the flu in Mexico but not in the US.
Hmmm...could it be that most of these serious and lethal cases are in towns which are extremely poor and lacking in proper medical care?
I dunno, just a wild guess.
"Cordova, the Mexican health secretary, said getting proper treatment within 48 hours of falling ill "is fundamental for getting the best results" and suggested the virus can be beaten if caught quickly and treated properly. But it was neither caught quickly nor treated properly in the early days in Mexico, which lacked the capacity to identify the virus, and whose health care system has become the target of widespread anger and distrust.
"In case after case, patients have complained of being misdiagnosed, turned away by doctors and denied access to drugs. Monica Gonzalez said her husband, Alejandro, already had a bad cough when he returned to Mexico City from Veracruz two weeks ago and soon developed a fever and swollen tonsils."

Well, that pretty much confirms that.

Yeah, boy are they over reacting.

Congratulations! Are you moving to the UK?
-
Thanks for the tip ... I'll look for it.

All the major media are starting to run stories. I think maybe in Obama's hypothetical 2nd term, we may actually see soft drugs legalized)

Have fun!

Welcome. Glad to see you aboard.
Would love a cup of green tea.

Space invaders. Classic. Also Missile Command and Defender.
I was an Asteroids and Joust kind of guy.
Yep, had Asteroids too.
Joust? I must have missed that one.

Sorry you had to go through that. But, well, I honestly feel safer with some token security procedures in place. Worth a little inconvenience, IMO, to make sure the sons of Jihad can't waltz blithely onto a plane.
