I speak English and German, I can read little bits of almost any language that uses the Roman alphabet and isn't too distant from English (I can read bits of Latin, Spanish, Potuguese, French, etc etc) but not with any real predictability.
Alright, maybe one of you can help me. I wrote a fantastical story about a gladiatrix and I need to know some things in latin to make it complete.
first thing: the word freedom in Latin in such a way that it could be used as a name
second thing: translation fo the line We shall call the child freedom
can you help? Thanks
Yep that's it! Pretty simple when you think about it.
How many of you are familiar with the Sphinx's riddle? "what goes on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three legs at sundown"
Probably. I wanted to have him waving his arm around or something, drew the arm, then didn't know what to do with the hand but still, I'm very happy with this result
Lol you gave two answers! BTW there's also black bears.
But think about it. "Every direction is south" and "what color is the bear" seem unrelated. But really, there's your key
Thanks for the info
My mom uses essential oils alot, one or two things she'll make a tea of (thyme, great for throat things. use the normal kind you get at the grocery store. Don't use red thyme oil it will burn you.)
The young retairus waits behind the scenes. Her turn is next. Will she come out of it alive? She still bears a bruise on her cheek from her last match...
Graphite is fun. The linework takes a while, but then the shading goes quickly. Before anyone asks, I do not know why thay guy in the background is pointing his thumb at the other spectator. I didn't intend it to look like that. But since its in the background, I don't think people will even look at it I'm also aware that the "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" thing is most likely a myth, but I just needed something to have the guy doing.
lol another way of stating it is "which door would he tell me to go through?" yea, I love that one.
Here's another:
You're in a cabin in a place where every direction is south. A bear walks by the window. What color is the bear?
