    lol I looked at this last night, and I finally figured out but I couldn't for the life of me think of how to explain it Heres one: You are in a room with two other people. One of these people ALWAYS tells the truth, the other ALWAYS lies. There are no windows in the room, but there are two doors. One door leads to certain freedom, the other leads to instant death. Not knowing which person will tell the truth, what could you ask either person that will ensure your freedom?

    They would use olive oil to clean themselves...sort of like we use soap. They would cover themselves in the oil and sit in a sauna or similar thing, then they would scrape the oil off (well...have a slave scrape the oil off) with a wooden curved thing...the oil, and dirt, and sweat went with it. It actually worked pretty well. They would also use it for massages and such.

    Shield is a "defensive weapon" and yes, anyone who ever got cracked up alongside the head with one will tell you it definitely IS a weapon. Spears are good long range, but in close fighting, they are practically useless. Also, if you use them one handed, and have a shield in your other hand (such as in a phalanx) they are very awkward to meneuver. More so if it's a long spear, and there are alot of people behind and to the sides of you.

    I made both my avatar and my sig bar, my old sig said AVE CAESAR! ROMA VICTOR! in red letters and I'm thinking of putting that back in there along with the "I fight not for the hatred of my enemies, but for the love of my cause" that was also in there. I really don't have a reason for the horse avatar other than I like horses and it works well with the small size. The sig bar is kind of an explaination for my username.

    Ok, to be quite plain, I meant what happens if you have to take a **** in the middle of the concert but aren't allowed to leave? I can't imagine it to be a pleasant experience, especially if it goes on for days.

    lol I would be more concerned with not being able to...um....well...take leave for a few minutes if you catch my drift I guess it never ocurred to him that he could get BETTER by not killing those who could potentially teach him

    Yea I'd heard the thing about the fiddle, but I was like "what the heck" because I really didn't think the violin had been invented yet... I still think it couldn't have been THAT bad as to make people jump to their deaths...but then I've heard some pretty bad music... I wonder...would he murder anyone who could outplay him?

    LOL yea...though I usually tell by the smell. In most cases, you can tell right off because the two smell very different. Carrots don't always have carrotish roots though, especialy not early in the year.

    Purple! lol all of the foxglove I've encountered to date has been white or a soft pinkish color...that vibrant purple is new to me. Sure is pretty though
