  1. My computer started with 256 MB of RAM...but when its just "resting" now it only has 70-ish MB available. When I'm surfing the net it only has about 30 MB physical memory available! Is this normal, or is my computer going to crash like, really soon if I don't get more RAM?? Also, I just got this new program The GIMP...which is GREAT when it works. But it is having problems with "not responding" and such...and I'm worried that it will majorly kill my comp. anyone else use it or heard of it?
  2. RIP Gaius Octavius. I wish I'd gotten to know you.
  3. Eww yea, I just got that theme and I don't really like it either. Its...strange. One of those love it or hate it things I guess, but I can't really decide if I love it or hate it.
  4. Maybe people just aren't on. That chatroom is kind of odd, and it's been hacked a bunch of times apparently.
  5. I also tried to get the theme and it did not work for me either.
  6. Wouldn't Caesar's face painted red have been his Triumph?
  7. On my site its 15...I honestly didn't notice it was that high on here, but I don't post as much as some members.
  8. I too have "patron" dieties, but I don't call them "favorites" (I have favorite foods, movies, colors, etc. I have patron dieties)
  9. That was the same with the homosexuality in Athens. They never actually penetrated the male because that would make them "like a woman". Anyone in the non-dominating position would be "like a woman" and therefor inferior.
  10. I agree (I'm also not a fan of machine assisted living unless the person *wants* to live.)
  11. My "fav" (doesn't it seem sort of...sacriligious to pick "favorites" among the Gods?) ok, the God I feel closest too...would be Jupiter. I like Mars too!
  12. I do not believe *any* religion is "evil". The actions of some of the members of that religion (who may or may not be true followers of the "true" religion...some of them are offshoots and radical sects) may be evil (there is NO justifying the crusades or the witch hunts in my mind although I do NOT hold this against Christians as a whole). However the religion that they follow is not. I have friends who are Muslim and they are the sweetest, kindest, most peace loving people you will ever meet. Same with Christians. I refuse to judge the many on the actions of a few.
  13. Hello! Welcome to the boards! I dont know how to get the little o's in your handle on my keyboard!
  14. actually, everyone is welcome (even if you aren't very knowledgeable) if you find it interesting and can be respectful, you are welcome to come by. Some people there are probably wiccans, I for one am not. It just happens to be whatever people feel like talking about that fits the topic
  15. I don't know if this is true or not (help me, someone?) but I've heard that the "barbarians" defeated the Romans by dropping out of trees onto their heads
  16. I maintain that it was the best episode because it was the last. And what better way to send off a rediculous show than with an explosively rediculous ending? I enjoyed mocking it anyway (I stopped expecting anything of it five minutes into the second episode.)
  17. This is a spiritual forum, I know there are some here it will interest and some who will think I'm crazy if they read it (that's ok, lots of people already think I'm crazy anyway! ). It is still being developed slightly, and more in depth topics will be added as people share their views and give suggestions, or express particular interest in something. If you are interested, do stop by... Hidden Worlds
  18. What? I feel bad for you...the finale was the best episode!
  19. http://lordbest.napoleonicmedals.org/gallerymenu.html
  20. I still can't get get over those "centurions" I mean...sooooo obvious. Did they not do ANY research for this story?
  21. FINALE! (no more torture...lol best episode ever)
  22. "Human rights"...ech. I really do wonder about them. I mean, prisons have...gyms, libraries, cable tv, 3 FREE (for the criminal) square meals a day and everything you need for life. and they don't have to work for it. The LAW ABIDING CITIZEN however, gets to work their butt off for all of this stuff, and they don't get to have quite a bit of it, and a good portion of their meager income gets to pay for convicts to have all of that stuff they can't afford. Mom, I wanna be a convict when I grow up!
